    I have an 88 2 wire trim motor that has started dragging. I am thinking it needs new brushes and to be cleaned. Are these parts available and if so what are the part numbers? I found a website that listed a brush kit with part number 392-8989, but I'm not sure that is what I need. Any help...

    85hp to 125hp

    I might be repowering my 16' bass boat and I was wondering what kind of speed increase I could expect? I am currently running a Force 85hp and I just picked up a Force 125hp. With the 85hp the boat runs 40ish pretty consistant. So what kind of gains do you think I could expect going to the 125hp?

    Couple of questions

    Mounting depth question

    I have a '77 basscat and I am putting an 85hp force engine on it. with the engine sitting on the transom and all the way down the cavitation plate is about 1 3/4" above the pad on the bottom of the boat. Is this acceptable or do I need to cut the transom?
