Please help!! All six plastic seat base bushings are broken on my 2000 G3. Springfield repair kit OEM part number 2100038 contains (1) bushing (1) glue (1) dowel pin tool....The best price that I can find is $23.00 each. That's $138.00 for six bushings! Does anyone have a better alternative?

My 70HP has a clear fuel filter between the tank and bulb. Does anyone know what causes a gel like substance to accumulate in the filter housing? I mix gas and oil 50/1
My 1983 70 hp Blue band has a small mesh bowl type filter just before the fuel pump. Would adding another filter between the tank and the bulb cause any flow problems? What filter type would be best?
Motor will perform OK at 4000 RPM and under. Accelerate to 5000 RPM and it runs like a scalded dog for about 5 minutes and shuts down and refuses to start until the next day. It's like someone turned the key off....fuel bulb collapes...I presume due to the high vacuum created fron the sudden...
