I have a 1988 VIP fish/ski boat with an 1988 Force 125 OB. What were the models offered in 1988? I'm also looking for a VIP fish/ski or ski to put a 1988 Force 125 on.

I have a Force 125 1985 on a 1985 VIP. When you put the boat into forward the boat goes in reverve and vice versa. I just bought this vessel and have not opened up the motor yet. I assume that the linkage is not connected correctly and I just wanted to get a few tips what to look at first.

I am looking for a switch and cable assy #0385253 for 1972 50 hp johnson #50ESL72C. can anyone find one anywhere. I found several places that had a listing, but were notable to supply the part at this time.
