I'm looking at buying a boat for shallow rivers that is not jet driven. What I'm thinking about is an Alweld flat bottom 1648 DSLW, 25hp Evinrude 2 stroke etec with a Bob's machine shop hydraulic jack plate. Thanks for any input
I just a bought a 14' aluminum Lowe semi v boat with a 15hp Evinrude from a friend. I did a search for jack plates, but could only find information on larger boats. Sorry if I've overlooked anything. I mainly fish rivers with shallow gravel bars. I was wondering if a jack plate would help much...
