I'm new to boats and have noticed that there are different lengths in outboard shafts. What are the differences/advantages of having either. I'm probably getting a 23'CC for offshore/nearshore fishing. Opinions and info appreciated.
Just looking at boats and was wondering what are the advantages of having an outboard on a bracket aside from more deck space in the boat? Does it make the boat ride different?
