My 350 is siezed. I plan on pulling it out this fall and probably replacing it with a 4.3. Will an automotive 4.3 work in this application, or are marine engines different?
Hey all. I have an 84 Skipjack 24 with the 290 Penta outdrive and a badly seized 350 V8. Thinking about swapping something a bit more modern/efficient for a power plant. Even maybe a diesel. What is this outdrive rated/geared/designed for? Can I put a 4.3 or diesel engine on this?
