Does anyone have any information on what size motor I can go up to on a 1988 Cabo 216. I could not find the horsepower rating on the hull. Had a 175 Evinrude on it and was thinking to go up to a 200 or 225.

Doe anyone know whether the 1999 Evinrude 175 have any manufactor defects in the block or any info if it is a good motor. I located a new one online and was thinking about buying it. Heard that there might be some issues with the blocks.
