    I have a 2000 25 hp Yamaha on a 15ft tri-hull with me and one person and fishing equipment I can get about 21 miles and hour out of the engine. Is there any thing I can do to get a few more mph out of this engine and boat. thanks for any info anyone can offer.

    trailer hitch extension

    I tow my boat from my bumper the tow vehicle is a 97 explorer but my problem is the trailer tongue is short and to close to my vehicle and when I put the boat in the water my bumper is also in the water where can i find an extension of at least 4 to 5 ft. <br />Thank You

    canvas top snaps

    I have a canvas top on my boat that snaps to the wind sheild and also snaps to the gunwales but one of the screwed in fixed male part of the snap is coming lose what can i do to tighten it up. so it wont fall out when unsnaping the top.<br /><br />Thanks to anyone who has an answer for me!

    cavitation plate

    I would like to know if it would effect the way my boat performs if the cavitation plate is about 1 to 2 inches below the bottom of my boat or does it have to be even with the bottom. The motor is a Yamaha 25 hp 4 stroke.<br /><br />Thanks

    cavitation plate

    Hello:<br />Would there be a problem if my cavitation plate was 1 to 2 inches below the bottom of my hull instead of being level with the bottom.<br /><br />Thank You for you help

    battery charging

    I just bought my first boat with key switch starting system all my other motors have been tiller motors. My motor is a 25 hp Yamaha 4 stroke do it have a charging system to charge the battery like a generator or an altinator to keep the battery charged.<br />Thanks

    Oil

    I just bought a 2000 model year yamaha 4 stoke the owners manuel did not specifiy to use outboard 4 stoke oil they just said to use 4 stroke oil does that mean i can use a good grade of car oil 10-30 or 10-40 etc.<br />Thanks
