Hi All,
Just wanted to share recent experience.
I am always a maintenance first kind of guy, but knowing my boat was only used on a lake, I decided to ignore the ignition system ... perfect running, always ... never a hiccup. But, I figured - after 21 years, why not pull a plug and see what...
Hi All,
Boat is Sea Ra 195 BR with original prop Mercury 3 blade, 13.75X21 aluminum - tore it up on bottom so replaced it with 3 blade Turbo stainless in 14.25X20. While this was pretty good top end it was 2-3 mph slower than the original aluminum), during hole shot the bow got higher than it...
I know it is a 27 gallon tank, but didn't think I would need depth dimension to order a replacement sending unit (will probably get a capacitance type) ...does anyone have one of these 27 gallon tanks they could measure for me? Or, a diagram? Or, have ordered either a reed swith or capacitance...
So, I am (again) getting around to trying to sort through all the advertising and sizing issues on bimini tops.
I have Sea Ray 195 bowrider (was only made in 1995, I think) ...my beam measurement is right at 80" to the mounting location, and the floor to hull height is about 32" (standing...
Did the measuring ...30 inches from floor to top edge of hull amidship. Biminis come in 42 and 54 inch heights (at least the standard non-custom versions from iBoat) measured from top edge of hull. Means mine would be at either 72" or 84". The first seems too short (I'm 6-1) ...and the later...
So, posted earlier asking for some input - didn't get any so did more research.
1995 SeaRay 4.3 with Alpha One outdrive. Original prop was 13.75 X 21 aluminum and replaced it with 14.25 X 20 in stainless. Stainless prop is by company called "Turbo" is what they called it, if I recall...
Have owned boat since new - very few hours. 4.3LX (180HP) with what I think is the 1.84 gear ratio on Alpha 1. 4800 RPM limit.
Ate up stock three blade aluminum prop (13.75X21) almost immediately and switched to a three blade 14 1/4 X 20 stainless (Turbo). Tried another stainless prop while we...
The cover my SeaRay 195BR (I/O with open bow - made only in 1995 it appears) was delivered with recently disintegrated - nice canvas with reinforced areas, straps to tension it to the trailer, and a fore and aft pole to keep it taut for water runoff.
The boat spends almost all of it's time in...
