I had a mystery leak on the Chaparral. took on 6 gallons of water in 1 1/2 hours. Checked all thru hulls etc. but that's another story. Found that when it got that bad that I could not find the leak because it was on the lower lifting strake and was hidden while sitting on the bunks...
What is the calculation to set up a 4400# , "V" bottom boat with a 300 hp I/o ?
I thought that a 1:1.5 with a 16 or 17" pitch but it won't get up !
