    2002 YAM F115 Steering

    I have noticed a 'catch' in my steering just clockwise of center. Is there a suggestion on the first system to look in to? No feedback steering system, steering cables, or motor mounted steering pistons? It is more noticeable when the motor is fully trimmed down, and less noticeable when trimmed...

    Hello;<br /><br />I just bought a used Javelin Fish & Ski with 2002 115 HP Yamaha Outboard. The problem is that when the trim is all the way down, the gauge only comes down 1/8th of the way from up.<br /><br />I know there is a trim sender, but don't know where it is or if it can be adjusted...
