So been working on my project boat, finaly had time to get my second engien running. so far what i have done, i have replaced points, condensor, and spark plugs. Also rebuilt the carb. It now starts and runs good. will sit at idle all day long no problems. but as i bring it up off idle i assume...
Hey all, breaking down my old mc-1 gimbals.... and let me let you it has been a nightmare so far... had to shear both of the pivot pins little nails and the lower swivel pin's cotter pin. Just if anyone is wondering yes you can shear them quite easy with heat heat and a small hammer and punch...

So I have a 26' reinell that I have been restoring. It is a cabin cruiser with fly bridge. I have dual helms that are running big-t Teleflex steering setup. the problem I have is the upper wheel spins freely have taken the upper helm apart to look at the teeth and the cable to see what failed...
