Small Gear(pinion/bendix) engages flywheel when attempting to start but does not spin. The main shaft on starter is spinning. New battery/good connections. Does this bendix have some kind of clutch in it? Any thoughts appreciated.
1987 40 HP Suzuki. When running, fuel bulb shrinks(vacuum). I replaced fuel bulb and have same result. I have tried with vent open and closed on fuel tank. Any suggestion?
