    Engine Flushing - When Boat is in the water

    My boat is on a swinging mooring in sea water and I have no way of flushing the Engine, Engine is a 2007Volvo Penta 5.7 Gxi , could I use the onboard shower down hose if I made an adaptor to connect to the Engine flushing connector, any advice appreciated Colin
