Ok I know these are hard to pull start but come on I did everything to wake this sleeping motor. plugs out she pulls fine plugs it I almost pull arm out of socket. Any body have any thoughts on what to try next and a new motor is not in budget.
Well I got 2 65hp johnsons and wanted to know about them are they s good as people are saying I know they had to be serviced for them to work are they worth putting money into. Or are they as bad as some of the old Merc's

well this is my project boat needs some seats and the bow light And now I have 4 different motors 2 65hp johnsons and 2 40hp norsman Thanks to some friends who needed work done on cars.
Well got a picture of the damage that some yahoo did to this boat. I would like to know if is a lost cause or can it be fixed
The boat will only have a 25 Hp motor on it on a pond no real high speeds. Note that the water line is just under the two cuts he made for a short shaft motor.
Well i picked up this motor it has been sitting for 6 years spins free shifts clean. what parts should i replace since sitting so long I have the time to research parts it's snowing still
Ok pulled old motor off boat found that old owner cut transom down 2 inches and accross about 8 inches. Question is do I need to replace the whole thing or can i just get the small section repaired.
