I have a 1997 Force 5 HP (purchased new in 2000) that overheated on it's first run of this season. There is no indication of water circulating so I tried to remove the lower unit to check the water pump and the drive shaft is stuck in the powerhead. I can move the lower unit about 1/8 inch but...
