I dont know the part name..but its the plate that is inside the transom that the motor bolts on to..
Its cracked in half..
On a 94 basstracker/merc 60
Any ideas where do get a replacement part?
I have a Minnkota Edge trowling motor...what battery do you recommend?
I dont care if you have a preference....preferences come from trial/error experience..I want your opinions.
Went to the lake yesterday, and the starter motor would not engage the fly wheel..
I took a crescent wrench and tapped in 10 times (old automotive trick)..the starter then engaged the flywheel..
Question is..can the starter be rebuilt? Should I trust it? Should I just replace it?
I restarted...
Recently I landed a bass from our community lake..
It did not have that slimey film on it..the fish felt dry. Is that indicate a health issue for the bass?
Just trying to learn about the species..
Whats the consensus on using an aluminum boat in brackish water?
I am not worried about cleaning up the boat after I am done..The concern is the long-term damage it may cause..

The motor is all the way in the down position.
I had a generic manual and it guided me to try to move the motor manually. I backed the screw out but still the motor is locked into position.
The trim motor sounds strong..I added extra fluid..
However the trim motor does not move the motor...
