    92' Force 50hp has no spark to one cylnder. Serial # OEC02728... I swaped leads going to the coils to see if the coil would fire an it did.. So I assume it's in the green/white wire before the coil.. I had the stator an CDI changed out last yr. Please tell me it's not that again. Marina...

    No spark in bottom cylnder

    I have no spark in bottom cylnder, I swaped the leads to coils and the coil fired.... Must be in the Green an white wire that feeds coil????? I'm hopeing it's not stator,,,, just replaced that last yr. Any help would me appreciated..

    "92" 50 horce force, made by Merc. How different is it then a Merc?

    Just curious how much different a Force made by Merc an a Merc really are. Did they keep chrysler design an only add some parts or is it a Merc with Force cowling? The one I have is a "92"

    "92 50hp Force cranks but no fire

    Is this something I can check with just basic tools? I am mechanically inclined but mostly on heavy equipment. Marina told me over phone it was stator for a price of $465 plus labor. I see online I can get it for $210 is it hard to do with just basic tools? I have had no prolems with this...
