    Neptune parts again????

    I have a mid 50s Neptune 1.7 HP Mighty Mite that runs but not very well. Idles poorly. Would like to get points and a carb kit for it. Asked about where to get parts twice & got no responses??? Would really apreciate a point in the right direction.<br />Tinker

    Modern 2 cycle oil same as older???

    My question is: My motors call for 24 to 1 oil mix. That seems like a lot of oil. My motors are both 50's models. With the modern oils I notice the newer motors call for 50 to 1. Is this because the new oils are better or are the motors designed better. Could I lessen the oil used in my motors...

    Neptune parts?

    Got my old Neptune running but it idles poorly. Strange set up anyway running the throttle with the timing. Anyone got any suggestions on where carb and tune up parts are available for this late 50s model? <br />Thanks<br />Tinker

    Evinrude 5.5 Fisherman year???

    I recently picked up an older Evinrude 5.5 Fisherman which is in truly remarkable shape. Original Evinrude gas can, excellent factory paint and even the prop still has most of the paint. It was lightly frozen up but came loose easily with some oil soaking. It hasn't been run in about 8 years...
