I've got a 50hp 3-cyl Mercury from 1987. It seems to have no thermostat in the cooling system. Anybody who could confirm that?<br /><br />My shopmanual and my partslist did not show any thermostat.<br /><br />I want to fit a water pressure gauge. There is a 1/8" brass plug in the cylinder head...
