    Towing friends boat damage

Well as most of you said, his insurance will not cover the repair to my truck, not really surprised. He will pay out of pocket for the repair, luckily my truck still has a steel tailgate, so they can repair instead of replace

    Towing friends boat damage

When we got the boat home we took a look at the coupler and there does look to be a nut on the bottom, assume to tighten it as mentioned. When the boat came unhooked there was a dip on the freeway which probably bounced it off the ball. Now that I think about it this probably could have ended...

    Towing friends boat damage

Ya he said worst case he will cover it out of pocket, i am sure it will probably be a couple grand. Tailgate took most of the damage with the bumper slightly dented. So I get why he wants to try insurance first. As for the hitch popping off, my only guess is the hitch on his trailer was worn...

    Towing friends boat damage

I was helping a friend by towing his boat and the hitch came off the ball and damaged my truck. He said he would cover it, but wants to go through insurance. Does he make a claim though his insurance or mine?

    Yamaha 115 stalled at idle

I have a 2017 115 yamaha and has been running flawlessly until this weekend. Was moving just above idle and the motor sputtered and died. When it was sputtering I threw it in neutral to see if that would stop from dying but didn't help. I tried to restart but it wouldn't catch right away. Had to...

Thinking of trading deck boat for jet boat

Alright I think you all convinced me to stay with an outboard, and not get a jet drive😁

Thinking of trading deck boat for jet boat

The major thing that kind of worries me is from what I understand there is no way to trim the bow up. Even though my boat is kind of small, I can get the bow up from not getting swamped

Thinking of trading deck boat for jet boat

Currently i have 19 foot deck boat with a yamaha 115 OB on the back that i will take out(weather permitting) on lake erie. I was thinking of switching to a the yamaha 210 or 222 FSH. I know very little about jet boats but love my outboard. Due to garage space I can't get a normal 22 center...

    !/2 ton Truck towing limitations

I am at lake erie during the summer, and I don't ever remember seeing a WDH used on a boat trailer. I am sure people do but just never paid attention enough to see one. Looking over Fords requirement that a WDH for over 5000lbs, a 21 foot boston whaler would need a WDH

    !/2 ton Truck towing limitations

That's what I find weird about Ford. Looking on Fords website they say they require WDH over 5000lbs regardless of TW
