    Swap a 1997 90 hp power head onto a 1989 85 hp?

    Hi Experts, has any one tried to swap a much newer power head on to a 1989 85 hp? The later power head has no acessorys, electronics etc. Problems and pit falls? All my acessorys are good, carbs etc. Thanks for any replies. Tractor jockey

    sound proofing a force engine cowling

    Hi iboaters, I have a 1989 Force 85 hp motor. The foam insulation in the cover came loose and the flywheel chewed it up. It would be nice to replace the foam with some type of soundproofing material to make it quieter. It is hard to communicate even at lower power settings so do any of you have...

    Hi, I have just purchased a 1989 bayliner 175 with a 85 hp force engine. With the engine raised, or tilted foreward oil slowly drips out of the lower unit out a very small hole.
