I have a 370v with an 84 150 merc black max. Not real happy with the current set up. Rpms are good but it's slow. Been told I need a 23tempest. Currently running a heavily cupped and worked 21p laser2.
I was awful wrong. With the new tach installed my 4bl 18p is turning 6000wot with 2 people and a full tank. The 16p I Tried was a disaster. Half throttle hit 6k. What would a 19p 3 blade do for me? Wouldnt mind a little more speed but I'm not willing to lose very much hole shot.
i have a 1860 jon w/ 115 yamaha inshore. i have been told i need a 16p stainless. so....13.5 or 14.25 diameter? found one of each but id rather not just throw part darts.
i have a 1988 90hp Merc. I just bought the rig and the motor doesnt have any screens in the intake holes. I have been tod that they cant be installed because it neveer had them. A man told me that i could get some stainless mesh/screen and bond it to the outside of the foot with 3m 5200 bonding...
