    Okay so I changed both exhaust plate gaskets with oem ones and just rebuilt and cleaned the carburetor. After some adjusting the motor seems to be mostly better, turns out I was pulling the carburetor throttle instead of the idle speed control throttle that adjusts the timing at the same time...

    Okay I'll take the carb off and probably clean it and rebuild it since rebuild kits are cheap. I have some exhaust plate gaskets coming in the mail so once I get those back on and the carburetor fixed I'll come back and see if the problem is fixed.

    Cant do a compression test on it right because its apart and I don't have a tester. I did test the spark on both cylinders and it was good but I haven't checked the reed valves.
