Looking for opinions anyone think this injector was leaking cylinder compress on that cylinder.
Pintel cap was missing on removal but oring was found in manifold. Engine was low on power checked plugs wires fuel pressure reg for paint all good. Compression test is next once injectors are back...
So pulled out my fuel rail for clean my injectors and found 1 injector missing pintel cap.
Looks like it has been missing for a while. Wondering if anyone has seen this?
I will scope cylinder and check but its probably long gone. The oring was in hole and it definitely was missing when it came...
So question when I get PRT EMCT OVRHT alarm. Can I see the value of the sensor on the Port Exhaust coolant temperature or is it just a open close switch set at 212F?
I know my sea pump housing is scored up and is probably cavitating at cruise speed.

I am NOT sure how to make it more clear. Upper shaft that the dower drive shaft in hollow. I personally have NOT saw this before but I have it apart right now and this is how mine is. I put a zip tie all the way thru.
Thanks for the seal info. My drive is a 1989 Alpha one. It does have a oil pass thru (hollow shaft) on the that drive shaft(attached in a pic) that allows oil to flow from upper to lower. I had my drive upper gear set replaced about four years ago maybe they used a driveshaft from a alpha one...
