Bottomed my mercruiser 470 out in the water and now am getting a strange noise when going in gear or reverse, it still engages but is a much different sound than prior to incident.

so my boat was running... I pulled the points off to change them and realized I had the wrong ones , put the old ones back in and have no spark.? Any ideas?
1984 mercruiser 470. I launched in too shallow of water and managed to jack my prop up and now it appears some other things. I got home with the boat off and put in reverse to see if it would rotate and lock. Then i tried forward and noticed that when turning the prop it feels like its hung...
