Found the problem the parts such as float needle and main jet was all too big. I had to put old parts back in. I still am getting 5000rpm out of engine but my hesitation is back so I need to find the right kit or buy new carburetor.

I have a mercury 3.0 with a two barrel carb . I was having a trouble taking off it would hesitation but then clear up. So I took it all apart rebuilt with all new parts but now at an idel it just dumps fuel in what might have I done wrong. I now get 5000rpm out of it from 4700 no more hesitation...
Ok so this is what I have and I know to test the condenser you can just use a volt meter but can we test the coil some how. And like I said what happened was power was put to the ground post and burned out something in this. Hoping to buy only what I need not whole unit .
