    I have a 97 baja 208 islander with a 454 carb engine. I use a mirage plus 23 pitch prop that came with the boat . It has vent holes it is solid pluged now . The boat will blowout easy. Should I try to vent the prop? Also has anyone used a ballistic prop?

    I have a 1997 baja 208 islander with a 454 I'm running a 14 5/8 23 prop and it is turn 4400 rpm and 60mph with 4 in the boat and 1/2 tank Should a 21 pitch prop be the better fit? Would I get more rpm and lose speed or would the mph stay the same?
