Just picked up a minnkota 42lb thrust trolling motor, the locking pin that holds the motor in place on the transom mount is broken, can it be replaced and were would one get the parts? Works fine goin forward as the shaft just hits transom but reverse takes some muscle.
Picked up a 1970 glastron v163 with evinrude 115hp last week with a soft transom for hefty sum of $50. Hasn't seen water in.three years got it to fire up but dies right away will be tearin into carbs soon. I band aided the transom with a.peice of 2x6 alum tube then capped it with another peice...
