My 1995 Evinrude SPL 112 has new carburetors and fuel filter. Idles well and smooth rev when in the water. When engaging prop there is a sporadic popping/hesitation and reduced power with full throttle at approximately 2500 rpms and only 8 knots.

The sender from voltage was connected to the sender for fuel, sender for fuel was connected to sender for trim, and then connected to Pul on RPM gauge.
I am having to replace gauges from a 1995 Wellcraft 190ccf. I’m finding the old gauges have S G I and L. My new volt gauge only has the light, ground, Ignition connection points. What is the S and how can a wire the new gauges? Any help is greatly appreciated. New at this.
