I have a 1977 evinrude 75 hp 3 cylinder outboard. How could I check to see if water gets in the engine-cylinders? I changed the water pumpkit. It idles rough. If I determine that water gets into one of the cylinders what could the cause be? How hard or expensive would it be to fix? compression...
I want to change the the prop on the waterpump. Took all 6 bolts out on lower unit. drops 1/2 inch and stops. Looks like the rod going up to the engine is attached to the lower unit. What should I do to make it drop?
