I just go a boat ( best price FREE) when I turn the key to start, the starter turns the motor over but will not disengage. It will not disengage unless I disconnect the battery.
I changed out the ignition switch but same thing.
Any Ideas will help

I have a 60ESL71C over the winter I have:
checked compression (125, 123, 125)
rebuilt all 3 carbs
new plugs
new plug wires
new coil
checked and adjusted both sets of points
I still have no fire on # 2 cly
Any ideas what to check next???
