I was told that the stater has gone bad on my 96 Mariner 40hp. Is this something i could replace on my own (limited outboard knowledge). I was qouted a repair bill of around 400, 250 being for the part. They are replacing the part with the new red kit, Does this seem right? Thanks<br /><br...
