got a 87 merc 150 the tilt/trim stopped working. The motor is humming but no movement up or down. It has enough fluid and nothing milky in it. Any idea what it might be or where to start trouble shooting.thanks
guys my 18 ft. wellcrraft needs stringer replacement. the wood is gone but the fiberglass is super solid and thick. can i just use the nida bond and just pour it into stringer since glass is so strong then cap the stringer.also how much would i need. i see where you can calculate the transom...
guys im thinking of removing my big old plastic gas tank and putting a livewell in its place. The tank as of now is right under my seat pedestals. Almost in the middle of the boat. I need the extra well room for those biguns i catch sometime. could this work? if so what could i build livewell...

i need a front cover for my cowl.Its a 87 black max 150xr2. i know where one is that fits a 90 merc 150 but when i look parts number up they are different numbers. Does this mean they wont interchange. I thought almost all late 80s to early 90s would work.anyone know if this is true...
guys my 87 merc 150 has a broke manual release valve screw. it broke inside the pump i guess. how should i remove it its already loose just nothing to grab. also that washer thats on the screw is preventing it from coning out. what do i need to do to remove it..thanks

I bought a new shop crane. i need to know about adding fluid. the directions say to make for sure to top off oil tank. it says to remove the rubber plug and top off the fluid. my question is i have to raise the boom to get to drain plug. Once i do this do i add fluid until it comes out...
