i got a 2001 50hp yamaha. the top plug keeps fouling out after probably 2 or 3 hours of use. what could be doing this and how would i go about fixing it. preferrably on my own, i'm cheap.

i believe that i may have been mixing totally backwards. see if this is right. i usually add half an once of oil per gallon. i read the conversion table and it says something like 13 onces of oil for my 6 gallon tank. how wrong am i? and what are the problems that i am likely to encounter?
