    Spray from Leg/ Prop??? + RPM/WOT question

    I have a 16 1/2' with a 90HP IL6 ...The issue I have is that, the faster I go...a "V" shaped spray shoots up about 4' at top speed (32mph)...The boat had hydofoils on it....I took them off last night and went out...it still does the same thing tho...but only with a few mph...

    Starting cold engine techniques.... whats yours?

    Just asking, because...my 90hp IN6 seems to take forever to start when cold....but im sure Im doing something wrong...because when its warm it starts in less than a full crank....even when it has been sitting for 1 hour it still starts no problem.....its the very 1st start of the day I have...

    77 9.8

    My engine starts first pull almost everytime....and runs really smooth at a higher idle(not all that high tho) if I try and idle it to where the handle says "shift" ,I can get it close to that...and as soon as I engage into either gear it dies..and if I try and give it gas quickly...it bogs like...

    Changing Impeller 9.8 Merc

    I have a 77 ------- 9.8 Merc I just replaced impeller....I put the lower unit back on..and before I put the 2 nuts back on I check to see if<br />rev -N- forward... are where they are suppose to be, and low and behold they are not....I know that the shift lever has to be in the forward...
