1998 bayliner 1950 capri 3.0 mercruiser. It clicks when you turn the key to crank it. Sometimes two or three times before the starter will engage. I replaced the starter and that didn't help. Is there a relay or something that will do that? I don't want to get stranded.

I just put new piston, rings, bearings and so forth in my 88 model 4hp yamaha. It calls for 100.1 but but should I run richer for a breakin period. And would it hurt it to run 50.1 from then on out? Everything else I own is 50.1 and it would be more convenient.
