Hi, I am relatively new to boats.
I have a 1972 Formula that I am attempting to restore.
The floor was spongy so I removed it from the boat and found core rot in the fiberglass.
The deck board that I removed is roughly 28 inches wide by 8 feet long. I thought I could cup open the deck board...
Are there some guidlines here?
do I need the same year chevy as I have penta?
what are the major differences between years? I would think that a range of chevy engine blocks would work with addition of the volvo heads / cam / timing gear & chain set / intake / water pump / fuel pump / oil pan...
