Ive had to deal with Arco warranty a few times. Its terrible. I prefer Sierra they have a nice epoxy coating,and their starters usually fit and include bolts warranty replacement is super easy to deal with and they will reimburse shop labor.

Not a chance they will make parts NLA. All these companies and their planned obsolescence. They don't care about parts/maintenance after sales. It's all about Market share, and volume sales of new engines.
Unfortunately the transom serial # isn't registred. Any chance you have the engine drive, or engine serial numbers?

You can order them online through different sites. Also it never hurts to check with your local Mercury dealers to see if they have any well used manuals they would sell you for cheaper.
