I recently bought a new used motor for my boat and its a 50 hp mercury. I can find the s/n 6098030 but no model number, the prev owner didn't know what year it was so was wondering if someone could tell me something about it?
I took my boat out this weekend but when i try to make it go full throttle it would stop going forward and just kind of spin, like when you spin your tires in the mud, you hear a sound but don't go anywhere. Any suggestions?
