I broke the prop on my 1987 Mercury 20hp and I don't know what kind of prop to get to replace it... I looked on here and it gives me a bunch of different options.. what is the difference in the pitches? Which prop should I get to replace my prop or how do I tell which one to get?
I just replaced the water pump and cleaned out the lower unit to make sure that everything was clear, and still my 1987 Mercury 20xd is not peeing... No water at all coming out of pee hole, but smoke is coming out of pee hole. I had the outboard in a barrel that was filled with water at least...
Where is the thermostat on a 1987 Mercury 20xd and also, whenever I start the engine up should it automatically start peeing out of the pee hole or does it have to get warm before it starts peeing?
