    exhaust leak 1991 90hp

    Alright, I'm 99% certain my problem is an exhaust leak. The engine will stall at low low rpm, but only if the engine cover is on.... with the cover off, the engine runs great. At high RPM it's great and isn't a problem... (I'm assuming thats because I'm moving pretty fast at that time...

    1990 90hp force smothering itself.

    It seems my motor runs much better with the cover off, I'm 99% certain this is related to it choking on it's own exhaust fumes. The question I have, is how should I go about pin pointing this issue?

    What gauges do you recommend?

    Gauges I have a 1990 Force 90hp outboard, and I feel like the boat is lacking some gauges. What gauges can I add, and should be looking for? The instrument panel has fuel, speed, and several blank spaces. I'd really like to see tach, individual cylinder temps, maybe water pressure, trim etc...
