I don't get the Star Wars "thing" I saw first one in the theater when it came out. Haven't seen a single Star Wars movie since. :unsure:

Same here.
I have good friend that was really into it and collected all kinds of stuff. He has made a fortune selling some of it the off but is still hanging on to some things that are very special to him. I get that part. I still have a Gumby that I just can’t part with. 😂

not a trekie...never been to or care to go to a convention....but...
this was kinda cool....
I do hope to live long, I've prospered ok..🙂

That is cool. No desire for a convention either but wife and I did the Nashville Orchestra libe to the movie into darkness. She is not a huge fan but loved that show.

Not a big deal for me either, but for it's time....the special effects were pretty cool !! Had two sons big into Star Wars...saw most of them back in the day, again the special effects were pretty neat.

I liked Star Wars initially. 1,2,3 which became 4,5,6 of the serial.
Oldest son really got into it years later when he and I saw the updated re-releases......then came the prequels/sequels......tolerated 1,2,3.....7,8,9 ?
we were done. Wrecked all the "goodness" of skywalker and the "force" from a fictional, sci-fi, entertainment perspective.
Just a movie when you get down to it, no sleep lost....
