Looks like this guy probably won’t get through the winter. Beginnings of mange.

I think it is good, it's a coyote isn't it?, maybe it will pass it to the rest of the pack

Red fox. They do a good job thinning down the small rodent population. Definitely not overrun with foxes here. Been getting pictures of him and his mate two years now. See them when I’m hunting that spot as well. A little ivermectin would cure it, but no way to get it in him. Slow cruel death in winter with no fur.
I will take him out if I see him near the house. He’s about 3/4 mile walk from my back door.

Very nice! That one is a shooter. Not wide, but super tall. The other will be dandy in another year..
I'm just seeing does, couple spikes after dark...20250103_205319.jpg

Yes, the smaller of the two I let walk several times in archery. The tall one I’ve never seen, either when out or on cam. Hope he sticks around.

Stark contrast to the mangey fox posted before. This guy is real healthy and has a nice coat. He probably has been putting the smack down on the over abundance of squirrels around here.

May I suggest, from the peanut gallery, that you start a new thread for trail cam pics? I've not clicked into this one because I thought it was a technical but I see it has evolved into cool pics. Just tired and thinking....

That's a great idea. I like how the thread has evolved into pix.... My cam has been down for quite awhile while we were out of town. Something knocked over the bucket that my battery and solar panel were on which unplugged the cord to the cam. Bummer. I'm hoping to catch some local bear...
