Sorry I should have looked more then just the error. Still think it's the CKP but may also have an issue with the distributor cap. The flat cap is what most folks call "crap cap" because they can look great and fail

Best to keep one in the boat because there is no warning when they fail

Yea I knew I was in trouble when I bought the boat and it came with 5 extra distributor caps

I still can’t find which sensor is setting off code 81 and engaging limp mode. I have disconnected one sensor at a time and tried to clear codes with no success. When I test the wire going into each sensor I get between 3 and 8 volts. I still suspect it’s the oil switch. What sensors can set off the 5 volt reference. I have tried tps, iac, oil sensor, map, and ckp

If you have a connector on the side of the distributor than your using the Cam sensor
