Its been awhile since I posted but I am restoring a Bertram 25 with twin 165's. I had the outdrives rebuilt, I bought rebuilt transom assemblies, and I have all of that in and am in the process of installing the hydraulics. I found all the specs on the o-rings and did a full rebuild of the trim cylinders. Other than whatever oil was used in the assembly there is no oil in the cylinders or the lines. What is the procedure to get them filled and installed and to limit the amount of air that enters the system?. Ill post pictures of my progress soon

fill reservoir run trim short spurts watching to keep reservoir from going dry. Once system stops lower fluid, run it up/down a few times to make sure all air is out.

If it does go dry it's not terrible, just need to run it more to get all the air out.

Cycle the cylinders, refill, repeat

The oil may become frothy initially from air, let it sit a bit, then go back to cycle, refill, repeat
