Why don't sea choice 1 1/16 seals fit?

The bearings in the 1 1/16 53541 kit are correct but the seal l44610 is too small. It won't go over the axles shoulder. I contacted sea choice twice but never got any reply.
Aren't all 1 1/16" axles the same?
Thanks

Seems like a weird size kit.

Typically the inner and outer bearings and seals are a different sizes.

Do you have a picture or part number of your old bearings?

"Typically the inner and outer bearings and seals are a different sizes."

not necessarily. For smaller load bearing axles the spindle can be straight, not stepped.
My axles take the 1 1/16 " bearings. #44649, inner and outer.

the seals can be a problem as I have experienced. There seems to be 2 different seals with the same outer diameter but different inner diameters because some straight spindles have a different inner step. One is 1.25" inner, and the other is 1.5" inner.....so you have to measure the old seal or get a number off the old one.

I have been working with 2 trailers with different sizes. Probably got them mixed up as there are several lying around. Seals are the most difficult parts to get on the hub.
