Hope everyone had a great weekend! Not only did the boat work all weekend, but while swimming off the boat a pod of at least 100 dolphins decided to join us. We escorted them back towards the Chesapeake for about an hour/6 miles before heading back. Really incredible sight and a pretty good way to impress the guests! Unfortunately my photography skills were lacking while trying to drive the boat...

Good times for the crew. I do miss the porpoise from when I lived in Fl and the Manatees.
I actually caught a porpoise once. It ate my trout. Luckily it didn’t get the hook and left me with only the head. But it hung on for for a good minute and stripped just about all my line.
The manatees would often sneak up on me and scare the crap out me.

The kids musta loved it, thanks for sharing!

We had a great day out on 7th Lake in the Adirondacks with our son and wife running her Mom's boat out of their beautiful camp's boathouse on 7th lake, while our grandkids tubed. We stopped at "the beach", met some very nice people (we ended-up having quite a few connections), the grandkids did not want to leave the warm, sandy "pond" where they were catching/studying/releasing little bull-heads and tadpoles. Family, sun, warmth, a new Lake to be on and in, someone else's boat, new Friends. The Admiral and I are truly blessed, your shared story reminds me we're not alone - there's a lot of good happening every day on this planet!
