Don't see fuel in jets

First time starting boat in a long time, this time with new fuel, oils etc
.
Press throttle, the other circular button then prime the engine like 3 or 5 times but I don't see any fuel shooting out of the jets in the carb, in the throat, which are below the flame arrestor, so I don't think any fuel is getting in there.

There are two tubes going into the carb, one is metal, going from the fuel filter, this goes into the fuel bowl, the other is yellow but it's a soft one going also back nto the fuel filter (fuel filter is not a snap on)

1. Which one of these is delivering the fuel to the carb?
2. What could be the issue to why the jets are not spitting fuel?
3. Can I put fuel in the throat just to test if the engine turns on?

1. Yellow hose probably means this has an mechanical fuel pump. Yellow hose sends fuel to the carb in case the diaphragm in the pump ruptures --- there should never be fuel in it. Metal line supplies fuel to the carb.

2. Out of fuel, blockage in fuel system, bad fuel pump, stuck float needle.

3. Yes you can dump one ounce of gas in carb ---- make sure to put the flame arrester back on before cranking ---- unless you want to burn yourself and/or boat!

Good point, I saw GLP-E and thought GL-E

What size motor is this?

Can I take only the fuel bowl out to inspect and clean it out or do I need to take out the entire carburetor assembly?

I want swap the gaskets and clean out of the needle and fuel bowl.

Maybe someone else can answer this ---- I haven't worked on a carb engine for decades.

But maybe you should check to see if you're getting fuel to the carb first?

That's a good point, if I disconnect the metal line going to the fuel bowl and prime with the throttle handle, should I see fuel coming out of the metal line?

Or is there a better way to test?

No
Fuel will only come up to carb when motor is cranking.
Disconnect fuel line at carb, place end of line in something that will catch the fuel and crank the motor
