Cut a lil slab of leftover teak, made some gaskets and a big plastic washer, and got the raw water intake installed last night finally. It is a 1 piece stainless unit for maximum impact and abrasion durability. (The marelon fitting I almost used felt flimsy and just wrong.) I believe I installed it without any metal to metal contact, not even the threads. Going to continuity check it at some point to see. Have a nice new SS ball valve for it coming in this week to complete my poor man's non ferrous non plastic seacock assembly.
It's getting out of hand, but it's going to be super convenient too. Also been working on electrical panels, deck boards and whatnot but that's not very exciting. Hoping to have engine compartment blowers wired and installed by this weekend to be another step closer to engine install time. Still so much to do.
